Take care of your eyes
If there is a part of your body that is difficult to rest, it is this: your eyes. For muscle pain, a little rest without physical effort and you are back on your feet. But how do you get to rest your eyes ? And more generally how to take care of your eyes?
You may not be aware of it, but your eyes are strained throughout the day by factors that you did not suspect not or little: pollution, heating, air conditioning, sun, screens…
Not to mention wearing eyeglasses if you have eye problems , there are several " tips ”to take care of your eyes and avoid many ailments.
What glasses can do for you
Your eyes are strained all day by screens , at work, at home and even in the street: screens are everywhere. The first solution to protecting your eyes is to avoid screens and their blue light that are harmful to your eyes as much as possible. But it is obviously complex to put this in place nowadays, which is why most current spectacle lenses have anti-blue light filter : they are therefore to be preferred in the choice of your glasses. When you stare at a screen you also tend to blink less and therefore your eyes dry out, so it is important to remember not to stare too hard at a screen.
You might not know it, but your eyes can get sunburned too! It is therefore very important to protect your eyes from the sun with glasses which block certain UV rays which could be harmful to your eyes. p>
What you can do to take care of your eyes
The eye strain is the main reason your eyes get sore, so it is important to get them rest. But then how to do? Simply by sleeping more! This is indeed the moment when your eyes are the least used.
Also, and you probably haven't thought about it, you can do sport for your eyes. The eye gym allows you to train your eyes and prevent eye fatigue. The index finger exercise is the best known: extend your arm in front of you and raise the index finger then gently bring it closer to your nose and finally, move it away.
For finally, you can provide your body with nutrients that will be good for your eyes: we are talking in particular about certain fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C or fish for omega-3 or even nuts for vitamin E*. Be careful though, these foods are not magic and will not solve your sight problems !
